Google Gets Naked

Well, the real headline from Andy Beal’s blog is “Google Gets Transparent with Invalid Clicks”. I just wanted to mention Google and nudity in the same sentence.
Anyway, so G is now offering to show which how many clicks it deemed invalid. Doesn’t say WHICH clicks, but it’s a very good start. Andy Beal (I mention the last name to avoid confusion) hits the nail on the head when he wonders whether G is catching the botnets. I don’t doubt for a second that G catches the easy stuff (rapid clicks, proxies, too many clicks from one IP), but I don’t think they’re getting all the traffic that comes through their search partners, specifically the domain parking guys.
