Bang Bang Bang Bang, Vamanos Vamanos

I’ve had a song stuck in my head for three days.  I heard it on Sirius.  It’s by a band called Clutch.  I saw them live back in ’94 or ’95 opening for Marilyn Manson.  They’re still together and putting out great music.  Unfortunately, I can’t get the song stuck in my head from iTunes.  That’s torture.  Not being able to scratch an itch.

Here’s the video on YouTube. It’s called ‘Electric Worry’. Bang bang bang bang, vamanos vamanos.

My producer found this song and built my top of the hour opens for my radio show with it. Absolutely perfect, kick ass open for a Sports Talk show in Nashville! And since my wife and I split up, the lyrics are kinda eerie! Vamanos, Vamanos, baby!

  25. Rhyno

The album is “From Beale Street to Oblivion”.

This is a great song and the “Bang, Bang, Bang, Vamanos, Vamanos!!!” is now played whenever the Vancouver Canucks score a goal at home. Totally thrilling! Best hockey scoring song E-V-E-R!

  30. peanutflower

and it’s the goal song for my beloved Vancouver Canucks this season. Just the bang bang bang part. Over and over. Guaranteed to piss off the other team, but that’s the point. Love this song.

As a long time resident of the Boston area, I’m sure you can imagine my opinion of the Canucks. But hey, at least we both love this song. That’s a start, right?
